Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and in-depth medical history analyses
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues while interpreting imaging and laboratory results

• Provide integral intraoperative support, preparing surgical environments, ensuring appropriate patient positions, and ensuring a smooth workflow during operations
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes administering medications, managing wounds, coordinating discharges, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Preference for completion of clinical rotations concentrated in surgery

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant

Skills

• In-depth understanding of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
