Work Environment

Located within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, this full-time position requires an onsite presence to effectively engage with patients and the interdisciplinary team. The natural setting is designed to promote healing and well-being, encouraging collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide seamless care. You will be working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop tailor-made treatment plans that address each patient's unique functional needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement evidence-based orthopedic interventions, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise programs, to enhance mobility, relieve pain, and restore optimal physical function.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, engaging in regular meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment outcomes, and modifying care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques, ensuring a well-rounded approach to recovery.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing our advanced electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on outpatient orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will provide compassionate, personalized care to a diverse client base, fostering meaningful relationships that encourage patient adherence to treatment protocols and promote successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Physical Therapy License
• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient settings, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification for healthcare professionals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to forge rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with three or more years in specialized orthopedic roles will be highly regarded. Familiarity with manual therapy techniques and knowledge of modern therapeutic modalities will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, supplemented by opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
