Work Environment

This role is based onsite in our supportive and collaborative rehabilitation center, where you will work alongside fellow therapists, nursing staff, and support personnel to provide the best possible care for our clients. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a standard work-life balance while serving the needs of our patient community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations of patients, utilizing evidence-based frameworks to guide treatment planning and implementation.
• Manage a caseload, averaging one patient per hour, while ensuring quality care and personalized engagement during each session.
• Deliver effective treatment modalities, including but not limited to therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient outcomes and facilitate coordinated care.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment protocols as necessary, maintaining open communication with patients and families regarding their rehabilitation journey.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively in alignment with practice standards and legal requirements, including evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will treat a diverse demographic, primarily focusing on orthopedic outpatient cases. You will encounter patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Your role is pivotal in helping clients regain functionality, relieve pain, and enhance their overall well-being through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapist license to practice in New Jersey.
• At least 2 years of specialized experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• A clean professional record free from any board actions or disciplinary issues.
• Proven skills in manual therapy techniques and patient-centered care methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to the collaborative spirit of our team.

Preferred Experience

While not required, experience with advanced rehabilitation technologies and a background in sports therapy will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is also a plus, as it aids in maintaining efficient patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits
