Work Environment

This position is based in our onsite rehabilitation facility, where you will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule that appreciates both your professional and personal time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify each patient's goals and physical needs, formulating personalized treatment strategies based on their unique conditions.
• Utilize a range of evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques to establish effective treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and functionality.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure rehabilitation goals are met.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment methods and lifestyle adjustments to promote continued wellness and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care and communication, addressing any interdisciplinary needs that arise.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately in compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Encourage patient participation in their recovery process by establishing a compassionate and motivating environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a varied patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will allow you to guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, empowering them to regain their full range of motion and functional independence.

Qualifications

• Hold an accredited degree in Physical Therapy—either a Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possess an active physical therapist license in the state of New Jersey, ensuring compliance with all state regulatory requirements.
• Have at least 2 years of professional experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Maintain a clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions or complaints against your license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong aptitude for developing individualized exercise protocols tailored to varied patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience dealing with post-operative patients, particularly those recovering from orthopedic surgeries.
• Familiarity with technologies and tools commonly used in rehabilitation, such as therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation devices, and exercise equipment.
• Strong background in patient motivation and engagement tactics to enhance compliance and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, continuing education incentives, and paid time off.
