Salary: $124,397 - 138,003 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or in a related science, engineering, or mathematics discipline, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience; alternatively, we accept a masters degree plus at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• We require the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable timeframe.
• Candidates will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must satisfy eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
• Because of the nature of our work, U.S. citizenship is required.
• We require candidates to be local to the area.
• Experience leading complex systems engineering efforts across the full development life cycle is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency with MBSE tools and methods, including real-program model-based deliverables, is expected.
• A strong software or computing architecture background is highly valued as a foundation for systems engineering.
• We look for strong communication, negotiation, and technical leadership skills, including the ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Familiarity with program management concepts such as Earned Value, CAM, SPI, and CPI is important.
• Experience with systems modeling and requirements management tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw and DOORS is highly desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and build productive working relationships, are essential.

• We lead systems engineering work across requirements analysis, definition, management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, trade studies, integration and test, validation, and interface definition for D5LE2 subsystems and system elements.
• We drive MBSE and digital engineering practices by developing and maintaining architectures, models, and designs in tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw and DOORS.
• We apply advanced critical thinking to identify design weaknesses, resolve technical issues, and make informed trade-off decisions.
• We carry out technical planning, cost and risk assessments, and supportability and effectiveness analyses.
• We help guide major programs and projects through key milestones, reviews, and gate decisions.
• We allocate system requirements to lower-level elements and support customer requirements analysis and negotiation.
• We evaluate vendor products, COTS, GFE/CFE, and specifications to assess feasibility and inform design direction.
• We design complete and complex frameworks, systems, or products that establish architectural direction.
• We assess designs for compliance with governmental security specifications and lead accreditation, certification, and security documentation efforts.
• We support and lead modeling and simulation activities aligned with program objectives.
• We produce and review technical engineering outputs while ensuring quality and adherence to standards, processes, and tools.
• We provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior team members and support their development.
• We stay current on technology trends relevant to the mission domain and strategic deterrence.
• We look for opportunities to apply AI to improve processes and drive innovation.
• We build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, program offices, and cross-functional partners.
