About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Asset Management to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of its portfolio of renewable energy assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial performance of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems, ensuring maximum availability, reliability, and compliance. This role involves leading cross-functional teams to optimize asset performance, protect shareholder value, and drive the implementation of advanced digital and AI technologies for operational decision-making. The Vice President will also be involved in all aspects of asset management, from construction to operations, and will be expected to have a strong background in renewable energy construction, O&M activities, and experience with regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. Applicants for the Vice President of Asset Management position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field and at least 15 years' of experience in renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, or utility asset management. A minimum of 10 years' of leadership experience in managing operational renewable energy assets is required, with a significant background in utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage. The role demands a proven track record in financial management, commercial agreement negotiation, and experience with AI-enabled technologies. Professional certifications such as PMP, PE, CFA, or similar credentials are a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, and be adept at managing geographically dispersed teams and multiple assets simultaneously.
