Pay: $17.00 per hour;  which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Work Schedule: Must be flexible Monday- Friday 8:00am-8:00pm EST

Job Type: Full-Time In Office Position

About this Role 

\n

You will be the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members. This role combines phone-based administrative support and customer service, assisting members by navigating multiple systems to provide accurate benefits information. Representatives must be able to listen, think, navigate multiple systems, document, and communicate simultaneously. Calls can involve complex retirement concepts that require attention to detail and the ability to explain information clearly. Participants are often calling during important life events such as retirement, death of a loved one, financial hardship, or benefit concerns, requiring empathy and professionalism.

You may periodically provide support through outbound calls as well. Accurately document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances. Enter application and enrollment information into a web-based computer system for customers as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following: 

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• High School Diploma/GED
\n
• Must be 18 years of age.
\n
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
\n
• Previous customer service and/or call center experienced.
\n
• Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding
\n
• Must pass a typing test with 20wpm  
\n
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers.
\n
• Ability to solve problems through analysis and ongoing feedback.
\n
• Achieving results through knowledge, empathy, and commitment.
\n
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
\n
• Experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred.
\n

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time.  The estimated salary range for this role is $29,640-$37,050
