Job Summary Gather disparate data from various data sources; analyze and normalize to ensure data integrity for analysis. Provide consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions that are available for analysis. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Serves as a resource to assigned client in area of expertise. Independently troubleshoot associate issues with health plan vendors and create and manage the resolutions. Manage the day-to-day vendor relationships. Oversees the leave of absence process, while working closely to answer questions related to leave of absence eligibility, assist with determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced schedule leave use. Maintains reasonable communication with employees on leave to facilitate smooth and timely return to work, relays communication between employees and their managers during leave within reason. Advise managers and employees on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and short-term and long-term disability benefits. Labor and Employee relations other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the ADA. Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses. Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes. Coordinates the delivery of benefits and fund transfers with benefit vendors. Supports the HR Business Partners with communication and other administrative support for benefit programs. Participates in the development of employee benefits policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Expertise in working with spreadsheets, databases, benefits concepts and data. Exceptional HRMS knowledge. Experience in acquiring data within large multi-system enterprise environments. Experience with the support and development of benefits applications and systems. Project management experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet research. Strong knowledge in utilizing spreadsheets, databases, and HR Systems to manage, analyze, and maintain benefits and leave related data. Experience with HRIS systems (Workday), benefits platforms, and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, state leave laws, disability programs, and employee benefits administration. Strong analytical, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee information. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet research.
