You will be working typical weekday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for consistency in both patient care and your schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to discern the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing established assessment tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that their individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals are integrated into their care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress and promote coping strategies and emotional regulation.

• Provide psychoeducation and emotional support to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders, available treatments, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor and document clients' progress meticulously, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to enhance treatment outcomes and effectiveness.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment strategy for our clients, contributing to a multidisciplinary care approach.

• Engage in continuous learning related to advancements in the field of mood disorders to ensure the delivery of current and effective treatment modalities.

• Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential records of clinical work, adhering strictly to ethical and legal standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidates will work primarily with adults experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New Jersey.

• Solid knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically regarding the treatment of mood disorders.

• Understanding of psychopharmacology and the capacity to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• A proven track record of achieving successful outcomes in the treatment of clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling rapport building with clients across various demographics.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
