As a fully remote position based in Paterson, New Jersey, our Licensed Mental Health Therapist will work from a home-based office while connecting with clients via video conferencing and secure messaging on the Simple Practice platform. This flexible arrangement allows therapists to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing necessary mental health services. Our outpatient settings ensure that our team collaborates closely, sharing insights and resources to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand the client’s mental health needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique requirements of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual or group settings.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment plans in compliance with relevant regulations.

• Utilize teletherapy tools and techniques to facilitate engaging virtual counseling sessions.

• Participate in regular team meetings and clinical supervision to ensure ongoing professional development and support.

• Respond to client inquiries and provide support to facilitate their progress in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will work primarily with a diverse adult and adolescent population, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the state of New Jersey.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective client interaction.

• Proficiency in using telehealth tools to deliver remote appointments.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 110,000 per year, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the candidate. Additionally, we provide the following benefits:
