This role is designed for a full-time mental health therapist who will work remotely from their home office but will be integrated into our community health clinic's close-knit team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ psychological and emotional needs, ensuring a personalized approach to treatment.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a supportive environment for discussion and personal growth.

• Lead psychoeducational groups aimed at building community and understanding of various mental health conditions among participants.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support and care during critical situations.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

• Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available supportive resources in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will engage with a wide array of clients from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and circumstances. The focus will be on providing compassionate care to individuals experiencing mental health disturbances, including children, adolescents, and adults who may be dealing with situational crises or long-term mental health conditions. Your ability to build trust and connect with clients will be essential for successful therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New Jersey as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will also possess a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a mental health counseling setting. Experience in treating various mental health conditions, as well as familiarity with community resources for patients, will be considered highly advantageous.
