Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at addressing trauma recovery and enhancing individual resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring integrated care and optimized treatment for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while connecting them to additional resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation that aligns with legal and ethical standards, reflecting your clinical decisions and patient progress.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings aimed at enhancing trauma-informed approaches in our practice.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continually improve your skills and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with trauma survivors of all ages, focusing on their unique experiences and challenges. Our client population may include youth, families, and adults dealing with the aftermath of trauma, requiring a therapist who is well-versed in trauma-related disorders and recovery strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey is required.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, evidence-based trauma treatments, and resilience-oriented approaches.

• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information and therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
