SOX Manager

LHH is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Senior Manager, SOX in the Tampa Bay area. This is a highly visible role responsible for leading and strengthening the SOX compliance program while partnering closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, executive leadership, and external audit partners. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical SOX expertise with the communication skills and business judgment needed to influence stakeholders and drive remediation efforts. Responsibilities Lead SOX planning, scoping, risk assessment, testing, deficiency evaluation, and remediation Partner with business and control owners to strengthen control design and operating effectiveness Drive remediation efforts and process improvements Coordinate business process controls and ITGC activities Manage relationships with external auditors and co-sourced partners Communicate findings and program updates to senior leadership Support control changes related to new systems, processes, and organizational growth Ideal Background 8+ years of progressive SOX, internal controls, or audit experience Current, hands-on SOX 404/ICFR program leadership experience Strong background in control deficiencies, remediation, and business process controls Public company experience strongly preferred Big 4 or national public accounting/advisory experience is a plus Active CPA, CIA, or CISA required Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
