About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Credit Officer to assess and oversee credit risk across project finance, infrastructure, and commodity finance transactions. Responsibilities include independently evaluating complex financing proposals, analyzing obligors and key risk factors, and preparing approval recommendations. The role also involves validating risk ratings and financial metrics, monitoring portfolio quality, identifying deteriorating credits, and contributing to watch-list reviews. The successful candidate will track relevant credit and market trends, support reporting for senior risk leaders and regulators, and help shape credit policies, risk appetite, and assessments of new business initiatives. Candidates should bring substantial experience in project finance and commodity finance credit analysis, with expertise spanning areas such as renewable energy, data centers, infrastructure, and sustainable trade finance. Strong analytical judgment and the ability to assess complex structured transactions are essential. The role also calls for experience with obligor risk ratings, loss-given-default parameters, portfolio monitoring, and credit governance. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to risk management is important.
