Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring the establishment of positive and professional relationships based on trust and respect.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor progress, address stability, and arrange additional appointments or discharges as clinically appropriate.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs, goals, and preferences, while continuously evaluating their effectiveness.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client to facilitate effective treatment and care.
\n
• Conduct initial intake assessments to determine clients' mental health needs and make appropriate recommendations.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Engage in regular supervision meetings to assess clinical practice and receive feedback for ongoing professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population consists of individuals dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or individuals with substance abuse issues.
