Work Environment\n

This role is set in a telehealth work environment, providing you with the flexibility of remote counseling while maintaining strong connections with clients through virtual platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead interactive and supportive group sessions, encouraging clients to share experiences and foster peer connections.

• Individual Counseling: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions to help clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, while teaming up to devise effective coping mechanisms.

• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, tailoring approaches to address their unique situations and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring and Evaluation: Utilize assessment tools to evaluate client progress, adapt treatments as needed, and ensure continuous improvement in their mental health journey.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals on the multidisciplinary team to share insights, coordinate care, and engage in case consultations for complex client scenarios.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are seeking support for anxiety and depression. You will provide care within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), employing evidence-based methods to facilitate recovery and skills development. Your efforts will help clients navigate their mental health challenges, ultimately leading them toward lasting stability and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.

• Current licensed clinician status as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York.

Preferred Experience\n

We value experience with mental health and mood disorders, particularly in working with young adults facing varying degrees of emotional and psychological distress. Additionally, training in evidence-based therapeutic practices will be advantageous to your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
