Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain up-to-date documentation including detailed biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge planning to comply with company policies.

• Collaborate with clients to create sustainable aftercare plans that promote success beyond their therapy sessions.

• Engage regularly with families, external clinicians, and referring parties to maintain a continuity of care throughout the therapeutic process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Serving Children and Reaching Families, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing specialized techniques to address the complexities of co-occurring disorders while fostering a safe and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing therapy to individuals experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges.
