Salesforce Developer

Pay:- 60-75/Hr

Location:- 100% Remote

Estimated % FTE Being Requested: 40 hours/week

Role Scope & Technical Focus

• Primary technology: Salesforce OmniStudio (formerly Velocity), including the Business Rules Engine
• Additional skills required: Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Client
• Developer will collaborate directly with program staff (RBAs) to design application look, feel, and logic
• MyEnergy functions as a recommendation engine - residents answer questions/quizzes and receive tailored energy efficiency upgrade suggestions

Role Structure

• Remote position ; preferred Eastern or Central time zone; Western U.S. considered for strong candidates
• 1-year contract , 40 hours/week
• Minimum: Bachelor's degree + 5 years of Salesforce development experience; 5 years is a floor, not a ceiling 3
• Certifications and energy/state government domain experience are preferred but not required

Day-to-Day Workflow

• Daily 9 AM stand-up for status updates and blocker resolution
• Weekly meetings with program teams for requirements gathering and demos
• Internal developer sync is held every couple of weeks

Worth exploring

• OmniStudio depth : Sean explicitly flagged OmniStudio as the single most critical differentiator - candidates with hands-on OmniStudio experience should be prominently highlighted, as generic Salesforce developers may not qualify.
• Utility program expansion : MyEnergy is actively expanding to surface utility program offerings, suggesting the developer will be involved in greenfield feature work, not just maintenance - worth clarifying scope during interviews.
