POSITION Athletic Director (Alexandria-Monroe Junior-Senior High School) POSTING DATE December 9, 2025 CONTRACT BEGINS January 5, 2026 REQUIREMENTS Indiana Teaching License in Administration and Supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Successful experience with sports and Extra Curricular Administration Strong understanding of Sports Safety and Law, IHSAA Rules, and Facility Management ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administer policies and procedures in compliance with the Indiana High School Athletic Association, Federal, State and Local Board Policy Represent the school at athletic conference, county and state meetings Manage the use of the Jr. High/High School athletic facilities by scheduling team practices and athletic contests Coordinate necessary supervision, associated workers, athletic trainers and security for athletic events Ensure athletic fields are regulation prepared for contests Organize team practice and facility schedules Contract officials for athletic contests Contract athletic contests with other schools Maintain mini-buses and van schedules and ensure they are fueled and ready for use Maintain student eligibility records and award records Resolve conflict that may arise within the Athletic Department Supervise acquisition, cleaning, repair and storage of athletic equipment inventory Manage the athletic department concession stand operations and vending machines Oversee the athletic budget, sports team accounts Secure athletic department sponsors and coordinate team fundraisers Provide/arrange all required trainings for coaching staff Evaluate all coaching staff and make recommendations to the Principal, Superintendent and/or School Board Please see complete job description here: #J-18808-Ljbffr
