Maintenance Technician

Mechanically Inclined Maintenance Technician Salary: $30 - $35 per hour. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all production equipment. Troubleshoot and repair issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, bearings, and other machinery. Operate a forklift to move heavy equipment and materials as needed. Utilize knowledge of machines and tools to diagnose problems and determine best repair actions. Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts or materials used. Assist in training new maintenance staff and operators on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Extensive knowledge and experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, pumps, motors, bearings, and other industrial equipment. Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Experience operating a forklift and other heavy machinery. Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Good written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with team members. A commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary training in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field is an asset.
