What you'll be doing...
As a Retiree Accounting Clerk on our Accounting & Eligibility team, you'll play an important role in ensuring retirees receive accurate and timely benefits information. You'll be responsible for:
- Reviewing retiree applications, determining eligibility, and establishing new retiree accounts in accordance with applicable Trust requirements and eligibility provisions
- Maintaining retiree accounts by processing monthly updates, adjustments, balances, terminations, refunds, and other account changes
- Reviewing reports and account information to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate retiree data and preparing spreadsheets and reports
- Responding to retiree questions regarding eligibility, benefits, billing, and account information
Who you are...
- Experienced: Two years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or other related experience
- Organized: Prioritize work, able to multitask and be timely with work
- Communicator: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills--both written and verbal
- Service Minded: Deliver superior and timely customer service, exhibiting empathy and care
- Detailed: Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Technically Savvy: Intermediate experience with Excel and Word
