This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a collaborative team. While you will be based in Tampa, our services extend beyond geographical limits, offering virtual support to clients across various locations. Expect a structured schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients to identify their specific psychological and emotional care needs.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions and group counseling aimed at addressing emotional challenges, including grief, anxiety, and stress related to aging.

• Collaborate with families and facility staff to educate them on emotional wellness strategies that enhance quality of life for seniors.

• Lead grief counseling sessions for residents and their families, providing critical support during end-of-life transitions.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, adhering to established guidelines for documentation and confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on elderly clients, particularly those undergoing significant life changes such as loss, health decline, or relocation. You will be instrumental in helping them navigate the complex emotions associated with these transitions, providing a supportive and understanding presence.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting.
\n
• Eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida.

• A valid driver’s license in good standing.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients.

• A strong listener with the capability to empathize and guide clients effectively.

• Proficient organizational skills and keen attention to detail in documentation and client care plans.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus. Additional benefits include:
