Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director

Drax seeks a Plant and Value Chain Optimization Director to lead end-to-end performance improvement across its energy and utilities operations. Reporting into Executive, Management & Leadership, you will design and execute strategies that optimize plant efficiency, reliability, costs, and carbon performance from fuel sourcing through power generation and delivery. Partnering with engineering, commercial, and supply chain teams, you will leverage data analytics, process improvement, and large-scale change programs to unlock value and advance Drax’s zero-carbon mission. This leadership role requires deep industry expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to inspire diverse teams in a fast-evolving energy landscape.
