Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Wishing Well Therapy
Location: Houston, TX — West & North Houston
Pay: $60,000–$90,000 per year
Schedule: 20–40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Optional Saturdays

1099 Contract Opportunities Available

Contract rates: $25–$35 per 30-minute session

This Position Is Ideal for Someone Interested In:

• Treating pediatric patients in the areas of language, articulation, pragmatics, and fluency
• Working with children and building meaningful relationships with patients and families
• Having access to a surplus of readily available evaluation materials and supplies
• Growing professionally within a supportive therapy environment

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting
• Follow established treatment plans
• Complete accurate and timely treatment notes
• Provide administrative support as needed
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the clinical team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college or university
• Current SLP-A/SLPA license
• Ability to build rapport with pediatric patients and their families
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive demeanor and Can-Do attitude
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Proficiency in English

• 20–40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday
• Optional Saturdays
• Afternoon availability after 4:00 PM preferred
