Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify functional limitations and develop personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, reducing pain, and improving overall quality of life.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to align with individual goals.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper exercise techniques, safety strategies, and preventative measures to enhance recovery and promote overall health.
• Collaborate closely with a diverse healthcare team, including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions who seek rehabilitation services to enhance their mobility and functional capacity. The patient demographic varies widely, from seniors seeking to maintain independence to younger individuals undergoing recovery from sports-related injuries. Understanding the unique needs and motivations of each patient is essential in facilitating optimal therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current Virginia Physical Therapy license in good standing.
• At least two years of direct experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and generous paid time off to support your work-life balance.
