Family Medicine Physician

Locums - Ketchikan, Alaska, Family Medicine Opening

Clinical Role

• ASAP start; ideally November 23, 2026
• Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• Outpatient Family Medicine
• Patients of all ages
• Approximately 16-18 patients per day
• Provider will work independently
• No rounding or admissions

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday-Friday
• 8:00 am-5:00 pm
• Standard 8-hour shifts
• No call

Procedures & Systems

• No procedures required
• Desired skills include skin excisions/punch biopsies, Nexplanon and IUD procedures, cryotherapy, and toenail evulsions
• Epic EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Family Medicine required
• Active Alaska license required
• BLS required through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
