Your Role in Our Mission

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients from pediatric to geriatric populations using standardized assessments and keen observational techniques.
• Create customized treatment plans that address immediate goals while considering long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to devise comprehensive care approaches.
• Provide education and guidance for patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical settings.
• Assist with occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care through the treatment process.
• Keep meticulous and timely documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Stay abreast of developments and advancements in the speech-language pathology field through continuous learning and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications We Seek

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), especially for candidates yet to receive ASHA certification.

Credentials to Ensure Success

• State licensure is mandatory for a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Achieving the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is highly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
