Riverhead Motors is looking for an experienced, results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to oversee the daily operations of our sales department in our Ford Store. This individual will lead and develop the sales team, manage deal structure, coach employees to maximize performance, and ensure an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment, enjoys mentoring others, and has a proven ability to achieve both sales and profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Consultants.



• 
  

  Structure and approve deals while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.



• 
  

  Recruit, train, and mentor new and existing sales staff.



• 
  

  Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance to achieve dealership and manufacturer objectives.



• 
  

  Assist with inventory management to ensure vehicles are properly stocked, merchandised, and market-ready.



• 
  

  Partner with the Finance Department to ensure a seamless customer purchasing experience.



• 
  

  Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining a customer-first approach.



• 
  

  Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and one-on-one coaching to improve sales performance and lead management.



• 
  

  Maintain compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum of 2-3 years of automotive sales management experience required.



• 
  

  Previous experience as an Automotive Sales Manager or high-performing Finance Manager preferred.



• 
  

  Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.



• 
  

  Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.



• 
  

  Experience with dealership CRM and DMS software preferred.



• 
  

  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.



• 
  

  Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
