Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine individualized treatment programs based on their specific needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that adhere to best practices and optimize recovery timelines.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to address musculoskeletal disorders, including hands-on techniques and exercises aimed at restoring function.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and their families, ensuring they are educated about their treatment and empowered in their recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and elevate patient outcomes through shared insights and strategies.
• Monitor the progress of patients, adjusting the treatment plan as required to ensure that recovery goals are met.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients, but your expertise will also extend to other specialties including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases. This diverse patient population offers an enriching experience as you tailor your interventions to address a wide range of conditions and recovery needs. Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy, allowing you to practice in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and proficiency in standard office software.
• Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships with patients, enhancing their overall therapeutic experience.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy setting is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
