Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians, formulating individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and goals.
• Implement and adapt treatment strategies for a diverse range of patients, focusing primarily on orthopedic conditions but also including pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining open lines of communication with patients and their families to enhance their understanding of therapy processes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, utilizing a holistic approach to patient care that leverages collective knowledge and experience in achieving optimal results.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in a compassionate manner, utilizing procedures and techniques that align with the patient's physician-directed plan of care.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers, ensuring they are well-informed about treatment modalities, care protocols, and self-management strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Fountain Hills Fitness Center is diverse, primarily encompassing those recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. You will work closely with individuals ranging from children with pediatric injuries to adults in need of specialized rehabilitation following sports injuries, joint replacements, or other orthopedic procedures. Your insight and expertise will play a critical role in guiding patients on their path to recovery, helping them regain functionality and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Physical Therapist position will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy being highly preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and computer systems.

Compensation and Benefits
