Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored therapeutic strategies.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies to clients individually, and in group, family, and couples settings, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and psychodynamic methods.

• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to collaborate on comprehensive care plans that holistically address client needs.

• Continually develop professionally by attending workshops and engaging in ongoing education to stay informed of the latest trends in mental health research and effective treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LPC will center on a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and interpersonal issues. Many of our clients are within marginalized communities who struggle to access traditional therapeutic services. Your role is critical in empowering them through evidence-based care and emotional support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in clinical settings.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practice.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, enhancing comprehensive care for clients.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and telehealth technologies for documentation and therapy delivery.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
