Senior Internal Auditor

Our Senior Internal Auditors partner directly with our senior management team to keep our business on track. This role offers high visibility across the organization and the opportunity to make a measurable impact by applying analytical skills and gaining exposure to key leaders. Primary Responsibilities Independently plan and execute operational, financial statement, and special investigation audits, including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and conclusion reporting Develop solutions and communicate recommendations to operations management and senior leadership Assist with audit process and technology improvements, to continually increase audit effectiveness and efficiency and provide management the most relevant and timely insights Coordinate with fellow Internal Auditors, external auditors, and consultants to complete assigned projects Assess and respond to emerging ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) trends and requirements Train and supervise junior auditors and get involved with recruiting efforts for new auditors Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financing, or related field 2+ years of progressive work experience, preferably with a “Big Four” or large regional public accounting firm Excellent oral and written communication skills Strategic thinking and persuasive skills Ability to travel :15% of the time (domestic) Relevant certifications like CPA, CIA, and/or CFE is preferred but not required Experience in reviewing observations with and presenting recommendations to senior management is a plus Salary Range Position pays between $90,000 - $115,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including the candidate’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, and location.
