Schedule Part Time, Days Every Monday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Every other Saturday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Every other Sunday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM About the Facility Rehabilitation Hospital of Oak Creek is a brand‑new 40‑bed inpatient rehabilitation facility opening in 2026. We offer high‑quality, compassionate care for adult and geriatric patients in comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Job Summary An Occupational Therapist who excels in this role assumes responsibility for the care of patients treated by certified occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation technicians and occupational therapy students. The therapist may orient staff, supervise in their absence, and maintain standards for professional practice and interdisciplinary teamwork. Key Responsibilities Assume responsibility and accountability for patient care. Assess patients’ needs, initiate appropriate OT interventions, and work cooperatively with the therapy team. Observe and evaluate treatment progress and recommend changes to the physician when needed. Perform assessments and reassessments, complete accurate and timely QI scoring. Assess pain interference with function, implement pain‑reduction interventions, and coordinate physician contact. Formulate teaching plans based on identified learning needs, evaluate effectiveness, and include family as appropriate. Report patient progress and discharge barriers at each patient team conference. Qualifications Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located. Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred.
