IT Administrator

Position Overview: Concentric Corporation is conducting a search for an experienced IT Administrator to support and maintain enterprise network and server infrastructure across multiple locations. This role is responsible for the administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of network systems, server environments, and core infrastructure technologies to ensure strong performance, reliability, and security across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical professional with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys supporting a growing and evolving infrastructure landscape. Key Responsibilities: Install, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, storage systems, surveillance systems, and phone systems Support physical and virtual server environments including operating system installs, patching, backups, endpoint protection, and system updates Manage core technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Exchange, Microsoft 365, SQL environments, and SSL certificates Assist in maintaining security standards and compliance requirements across multiple locations Support storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems including capacity planning and system maintenance Respond to escalated infrastructure and systems support requests Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and service providers as needed Manage assigned infrastructure projects including planning, implementation, timelines, and status updates Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify opportunities for improvement Travel periodically to company locations for infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and onsite support activities Work Environment: Primarily onsite role with occasional travel to regional locations Collaborative IT team environment Hands-on infrastructure and systems support responsibilities Opportunity to work across a broad range of enterprise technologies Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred 5+ years of systems administration or network infrastructure experience Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and enterprise infrastructure environments Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and virtualization technologies Familiarity with VPN technologies, PowerShell scripting, and server management Experience supporting backup, storage, and disaster recovery environments Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement long-term solutions Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical projects simultaneously Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive systems and information Preferred Experience: Experience with Hyper-V or other virtualization platforms Familiarity with enterprise ERP or business systems environments Industry certifications such as Network+, Security+, MCSE, or similar Experience working within multi-site enterprise environments Who You Are: You are a dependable and solutions-oriented IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and keeping systems running smoothly.
