Business Development Specialist

Business Development Specialist Salary Range: $62,000–$67,000, commensurate with experience PBS Hawaiʻi is seeking a motivated and relationship‑driven Business Development Specialist to support our sponsorship, revenue, and partnership efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of how Hawaiʻi businesses operate. This role helps identify new opportunities, strengthen existing relationships, and support the development of proposals, campaigns, and deliverables that advance PBS Hawaiʻi's mission. The Business Development Specialist works closely with the Director of Business Development to execute sponsorship plans, prepare materials, coordinate deliverables, and ensure partners receive timely, accurate support. This position also assists with digital sponsorship opportunities, prospect research, and tracking performance across platforms. The role requires a mix of creativity, organization, and follow‑through, with a focus on helping PBS Hawaiʻi grow its revenue and deepen community partnerships. This position reports to the Director of Business Development and requires in‑person attendance during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.
