Accounts Payable ClerkLarge Construction Company is actively looking for an accounts payable manager for a long term contract assignment. Please do not apply to this position if you do not have Construction Experience.The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing the accounts payable department and is ultimately responsible for the efficient management of the purchase ledger function and the payment of all company invoices in a timely fashion.Job DescriptionDuties include:Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable departmentPerforming the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgersMaintain excellent working relationship with external supplier Ensures all vendors are paid per contractual terms and that inquiries and payment issues are responded to and resolved in a timely manner.Ensure the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficientlyProvides situational resolution relating to staff including conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.Performance management of staff and monthly appraisalsManages the professional development of direct reports by establishing annual goals and objectives for each and advises staff on progress.Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the businessAd-hoc duties to support the businessQualificationsRequirements of the role:•Experience with CMIC software•A good knowledge & understanding of the Accounts Payable function with a minimum of three years' experience managing the Accounts Payable Department in the construction industry•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration•You will have experience of processing and payment of invoices in multiple currencies as well as experience of working in an outsourced Accounts Payable function•Proven experience within a high volume accounts payable environment•Confident communicate as this role will involve liaising with various key senior manager of the business•A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (Understanding V-Lookup, Pivot and Functions an advantage)Additional InformationCompensation: 16.00$ / hourAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
