Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct therapeutic sessions with couples and families, guiding them through various challenges. Specific duties include:

• Conducting initial assessments and developing personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, while also providing individual therapy when necessary.
\n
• Addressing issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustment to life transitions, including separation and divorce.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy.
\n
• Monitoring client progress and modifying treatment plans to reflect ongoing developments.
\n
• Providing psychoeducation to families about mental health issues affecting relationships and communication.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers within our network to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapy services encompass a wide spectrum of client needs. You will work primarily with:

• Couples experiencing relationship difficulties, including communication breakdowns and conflict resolution.
\n
• Families dealing with issues such as blended family dynamics, parenting challenges, and conflict among siblings.
\n
• Individuals facing mental health struggles, including stress related to job issues, histories of abuse, or grief and loss.

• Children and adolescents navigating emotional and behavioral challenges.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Active CA license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic modalities in a family context.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience\n

While all applicants will be considered, candidates with the following experience will be prioritized:
