Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will encompass:

• Delivering ongoing, trauma-informed counseling services both individually and in group settings, focusing on the unique needs of adult survivors.

• Conducting thorough assessments for immediate safety concerns, specifically evaluating high-risk clients who may face potential dangers such as homicide, suicide, or ongoing domestic violence.

• Guiding clients through the development of personalized coping strategies and skills to address their identified challenges and goals, facilitating meaningful progress in their healing journey.

• Documenting client interactions and progress meticulously using electronic health record systems, adhering to established best practices for confidentiality and care quality.

• Participating in client case reviews and team meetings to share insights and coordinate integrated care approaches with peers and external partners.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult survivors of domestic violence and related traumas, many of whom present with complex psychological and emotional needs. You will work with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, emphasizing a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective while fostering a safe and inclusive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as an LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, specifically working with trauma-affected populations.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to effectively balance caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

• Proficient in using various computer applications, including electronic medical records, word processing software, and spreadsheets.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
