Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Must have a current state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; NIHS preferred Must-Have: 2 years of previous charge experience strongly preferred Patient ratios: 1:6 Description: This position involves providing care to patients in a medical surgical unit. The nurse will be responsible for all aspects of tracheostomy care and management. There is interdisciplinary support available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend. Floating to other units may also be required. Successful candidates will have experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia management. The ideal candidate will be open to a fast-paced environment and able to collaborate effectively with a variety of healthcare professionals.
