THE ROLE:

Develop new commercial construction business across the Dallas-Fort Worth market, focusing on new-build projects and opportunities from the early stages of development through contract award. Build and maintain relationships with General Contractors and key decision-makers across office, education, government, retail and other commercial construction projects. Own the full sales process from prospecting and relationship development through to project award, working closely with internal estimating and operational teams to develop the right solution. Take ownership of your territory and sales targets with the autonomy to manage your schedule, client visits and approach while continuously growing your commercial construction pipeline.

THE PERSON:

Proven B2B commercial sales or business development experience, ideally within construction, building services, roofing, drywall, concrete, glass, façade or another commercially focused sector. Strong new-business mentality with a proven ability to proactively generate opportunities and build relationships with General Contractors and commercial construction stakeholders. Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers in the commercial construction industry, with an "eat what you kill" mentality. Based in or around the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and comfortable travelling throughout the local market, typically within approximately 50-80 miles. The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
