Project Coordinator

Overview At VCI Construction, as a Project Coordinator, you will report to the division Project Manager, work closely with supervisors and field employees. Multi‑tasking is essential. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, resourceful, good problem solver and organized. Report production status, jobs, and billing information. Construction work‑site planning experience preferred. Project Controls experience of 1‑3 years working on construction projects. Detail‑oriented and able to perform quality assurance audits on reporting. Good verbal and written communication skills are required. Work independently to complete deliverables on a daily basis. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), including pivot tables, sumifs, V‑LOOKUPs, etc. Work independently with coworkers, customers, and others in unsupervised interactions. Provide accurate and reliable information to others in the company. Routine driving for work, performed safely. Safe and responsible use of computers and related technology. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 18 years of age or older. Authorization to work in the United States. Permit experience required. Valid Driver’s License. At least 1‑3 years of relevant experience. Background and drug screen clearance. Good organization, multi‑tasking, time management, and documentation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience and knowledge of State, Highway Department & Municipal requirements for telecommunications construction permitting. Working knowledge of traffic control permitting requirements. Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.). Proficiency with Adobe Professional and Microsoft Project. Basic knowledge of As‑Builts. Ability to work independently and build strong business relationships at all levels. Ability to interact effectively with other team members. Follow instructions and directions to perform job tasks. Demonstrated capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones. Construction experience preferred.
