Litigation Legal Assistant (Boston/ Hybrid)

Our growing law firm client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Legal Assistant to support a great litigation team! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has strong experience with court filings, case management, and attorney support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, and format legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials
• Manage state and federal court filings, including extensive experience with e-filing systems
• Handle Massachusetts Superior Court Rule 9A filings and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures
• Maintain attorney calendars, schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
• Coordinate service of process and communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files
• Track deadlines and assist attorneys with trial preparation and case management

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of e-filing procedures in state and federal courts
• Experience handling Massachusetts Rule 9A filings required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
