Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy sessions for patients, ensuring that treatments align with established goals and best practices.
• Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding their treatment options, progress, and any adjustments needed in their care plan.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Medicare regulations.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in all patient encounters, demonstrating a thorough understanding of physical therapy techniques and their application.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and rehabilitation staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse population of pediatric and adult patients experiencing various conditions that impair mobility and function, such as sports injuries, orthopedic issues, and recovery from surgeries. Your expertise will play a critical role in improving their physical capabilities, enhancing their quality of life, and achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Florida Physical Therapist license is required.
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of patients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care setting, with a focus on outpatient therapies, is preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
• A proven track record in effective patient care strategies and rehabilitation outcomes is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience. Employees will also access:
