ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift - 4 x 12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with a preference for those with Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) experience. This role requires proficiency in various critical care skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies and charting systems, specifically Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• LTAC experience is preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.
