Job Description

Johnson Service Group is looking for an Accountant for one of our clients in San Jose. This person will support the Finance Department with a variety of accounting and administrative functions. Responsibilities include processing employee expense reimbursements and credit card expense reports in accordance with company policy, processing daily cash receipts and deposits; scanning and uploading supporting documentation, preparing journal entries for cash receipts, revenue, property taxes, allocations, and reclasses, auditing cash disbursements, reconciling general ledger and procurement credit card accounts, responding to internal and external customer inquiries, and performing other related duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or a related field, one (1) year of professional accounting experience, knowledge of basic accounting principles and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and ERP/accounting systems preferred, strong attention to detail, organizational, and customer service skills, ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities, and a valid CA drivers License.
