Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique backgrounds and needs.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions tailored to the identified needs of patients, ensuring a supportive and empathetic therapeutic space.

• Accurately complete billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in a timely manner to facilitate smooth administrative processes and patient care.

• Develop crisis and safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to help patients maintain stable functioning during their treatment.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that outline the steps and resources needed for continued mental health support after therapy concludes.
\n
• Strictly adhere to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as NEHS policies and procedures, maintaining the highest ethical standards in practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to stay current with best practices and emerging theories in mental health counseling.
\n
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing insights and learning from colleagues to enhance patient care.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients we serve come from a diverse range of backgrounds, each with unique challenges and experiences. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with individuals facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and relationship challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.

• A valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (including LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Illinois.

• Experience in telehealth counseling and knowledge of relevant technologies is a significant plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
