Associate Attorney – Family Law & Criminal Defense

Nashville, TN | Hybrid Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + Performance Bonus Full-Time

As an Associate Attorney, you will represent clients in Family Law and Criminal Defense matters while building trusted relationships within the community.

You will manage cases from consultation through resolution, advocate for clients both in and out of court, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

What Success Looks Like

During your first year, you will:

• Build and manage a successful caseload in Family Law and Criminal Defense
• Deliver exceptional client service and legal representation
• Develop trusted relationships with clients and referral sources
• Contribute to the firm's growth through effective client consultations and case management
• Collaborate with team members to support firm-wide goals
• Expand your legal expertise and professional capabilities

Qualifications

Required

• Active Tennessee law license
• Minimum of 4-5 years of Family Law and/or Criminal Defense experience
• Strong litigation, negotiation, mediation, legal research, and legal writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and case management abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Strategic thinking and sound legal judgment

Preferred

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience serving multicultural or immigrant communities
• Experience mentoring junior legal professionals
• Passion for community-centered legal advocacy
