LOCATION: Onsite 5 days a week DEPARTMENT: Animal Management Summary Leads administrative and operational functions for Animal Care, including processes, budgeting, staff supervision, and grant/project management, ensuring efficient, aligned, and high-performing operations. Your Primary Responsibilities Lead and supervise administrative staff, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management. Oversee and improve departmental operations, including workflows, scheduling, procurement, and data management systems. Develop, monitor, and report on departmental budgets; track expenditures and partner with Finance. Manage grants and contracts, including proposal support, implementation, reporting, and compliance. Coordinate cross-functional communication, reporting, and partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience. At least 4 years of operations management or complex project management experience with 2 years in a supervisory role managing staff and supporting inclusive, equitable workplaces. Successful applicants must live and work in Washington State to perform this role. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications Project Management certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent Proficient speaking languages other than English.
