Account Manager

Opportunity Senior Account Manager will manage specialized and complex books of business and insurance service tasks, demonstrate leadership skills, and act as an expert resource for less‑experienced co‑workers. Mentoring, training, and supporting overall team growth are required. The role may handle a flexible size book based on employee capacity and will maintain awareness of market conditions, provide feedback, and handle special projects. Duties & Responsibilities Service day‑to‑day client needs including fielding phone calls, e‑mail, and other communication Manage the execution of all aspects of client renewal process Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included in proposal Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction Manage and delegate work to Associate and Account Managers as needed Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage Ensure completion of proposals, binding of coverage, and review policies for accuracy Set up and maintain electronic records Use broker standards for service and maintenance of client files Train, mentor and collaborate with team members on coverage, exposures and client knowledge Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent P & C Insurance Producer License required Six or more years of insurance brokerage or property–casualty insurance experience in an account management role preferred Construction experience preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficiency in training others Effective mentoring and teamwork Exceptional customer service skills Strong reading comprehension and analysis Strong data entry and written/oral communication Strong organization and follow‑up skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet use Applied EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred Working Conditions & Physical Demands Regularly required to sit, use hands, fingers, talk or hear May occasionally lift or move up to ten pounds Close vision for computer monitor is required Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities Salary and Benefits Expected salary range $90,000 – $100,000 depending on geographical location and other factors. Benefits may include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k), paid time off, bonuses, equity and commissions for certain positions. Required Travel No travel required.
