Maximum Wellness PT is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Sacramento, California. This full-time role is designed for an individual who is passionate about helping patients regain their movement and enhance their quality of life through tailored treatment plans and modern therapeutic techniques. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two years of hands-on experience, supporting diverse patient needs in an outpatient office setting.

Work Environment

The work environment at Maximum Wellness PT is collaborative and dynamic, with a strong emphasis on teamwork among physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. Our outpatient office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 5 PM. As a team member, you will work closely with a diverse group of caring professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to fostering a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Maximum Wellness PT, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for each patient, evaluating their physical capabilities and identifying any limitations that affect their mobility.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate advanced therapeutic techniques to restore movement and alleviate pain, utilizing modalities such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on evidence-based outcomes, facilitating discussions with patients to maintain their engagement in the recovery process.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and exercises they can perform at home to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care for patients, participating in case conferences and sharing insights on patient outcomes to continuously improve rehabilitation strategies.

Our patient population is diverse, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this role:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) is essential, along with a valid California state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care and a deep passion for empowering patients to achieve optimal mobility and quality of life.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset to effectively collaborate with peers and engage positively with patients.

Preferred Experience

Candidates who have two or more years of professional experience in an outpatient setting are preferred, particularly those familiar with current rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based practice methodologies. Experience in specific areas such as sports rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, or chronic pain management will greatly benefit our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

In return for your expertise and dedication, Maximum Wellness PT offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our employees benefit from a comprehensive health package, which includes:
